We build up to it through the slip roads at the Botley Interchange, and we do not push you onto it before you and your instructor agree you are ready.

Is the Botley Road railway bridge closure a problem for lessons?

No. Botley Road has been closed to through traffic under the railway bridge while Network Rail rebuilds it, and the latest published timeline is a reopening on Sunday 20 September 2026, a date that has moved more than once. Please check the current position before you travel. It does not affect your lessons. We pick up as normal and use West Way, Elms Road, North Hinksey, Cumnor Hill and the A34, and we reach the city by whichever routes are open on the day.
