How the Booking Form Works
You book the slot yourself and you have it straight away. Nothing is taken from you at any point in this, and you can move the lesson later if you need to.
Answer three questions
Manual or automatic, your postcode, and where you heard about us. It takes about thirty seconds.
See what is actually free
The form shows you the slots available for your area straight away. No sending an enquiry and waiting for somebody to reply.
Pick a slot and fill in your details
Your name, address, email and your driving licence number. Have the licence in front of you and it is quick.
That is it, booked
The slot is yours from that moment. We will be in touch to welcome you and confirm exactly where you want picking up from.
What Happens on the Day
Worth knowing before it comes round, particularly if this is your first time behind a wheel. Nothing about it is designed to catch you out.
- AWe come to youYour instructor arrives at the address you gave, whether that is home, work or college. There is no meeting point to get yourself to and no lesson time spent travelling to one.
- BThe first ten minutesA licence check, then seat, mirrors and controls before the car moves anywhere. Slower than you are expecting, deliberately.
- CYou do most of the drivingComplete beginners start on quiet residential streets, not in traffic. You will drive for most of the two hours, at whatever pace you are comfortable with.
- DYou finish knowing where you areWhat went well, what to work on next, and an honest view of roughly how many hours you are likely to need. No sales pitch attached to it.
What to bring on the day
Short list. Everything else is ours.
- Your provisional or full driving licence, which your instructor will check
- Glasses or contact lenses if you need them to read a number plate at twenty metres
- Comfortable shoes with a thin sole. Heavy boots make the pedals harder to feel
- The car, the insurance and the dual controls are ours, so nothing else is needed
- You do not need to have passed your theory test to start practical lessons
Paying, and Changing Your Mind
No money changes hands when you book online. Here is what happens after that, and what the position is if something comes up.
Paying for lessons
Cash or bank transfer- Nothing is taken when you book online
- Cash on the day is fine, including for your first lesson
- By bank transfer, please let it clear at least 24 hours before the lesson
- Prepaid blocks are paid before the block starts and cost less per hour
- A block you have paid for holds its price for the whole block
Moving or cancelling
48 hours notice- Move or cancel a lesson free of charge with at least 48 hours notice
- Just call or message us, there is no form and no penalty
- We try to be flexible when something genuinely unavoidable happens
- Not started a prepaid block yet? It can usually be refunded, less a small admin fee
- Less than 48 hours notice may be charged, because that slot cannot be filled

What Are You Booking?
All of these go through the same form. Telling us which saves a message back and forth.
Automatic lessons
No clutch and no gear changes. Often fewer hours to test standard, and it covers electric and hybrid cars.
Manual lessons
One licence covering every car. The same price as automatic, and switching between the two is straightforward.
Intensive courses
Ten to forty five hours built around a target test date. Tell us your test date on the form if you already have one.
Refresher lessons
For full licence holders coming back after a break, or driving on UK roads for the first time. Start with a two hour assessment.
Student and NHS rates
Discounted rates for students and NHS staff with valid ID. Tell us when we get in touch to welcome you, and bring the ID to your first lesson.
Pass Plus
Already passed? Pass Plus covers motorway, dual carriageway and night driving, and can reduce some insurance premiums.
